Diamine Ink - Green

Here is a colour that I was not expecting. It was expecting a deep green, but it is a lighter tone with blue tones. Performance of this ink was consistent with the other Diamine colours.

Here is a dark rich green that was issued by Diamine in 2009. Great new colour addition to their selections. I have enjoyed using this ink. Looks strong and bold on the paper. Good performance.

Here is another colour I was expecting as I thought emerald would have a deeper green. Using this for some notes at work, and using it for cards I wrote at Christmas, I think I will be using this colour more for personal writing. Performance is consistent with other Diamine colours. Good flow. Drys in a relatively quick time.

Okay, I tried this colour. I view this as a special use ink. A page of writing with this colour I found to be a little hard on the eye. Using a Pelikan M800 Double Broad nib there is lots of shading so you get some very interesting tones on the paper.

In May 2008 Diamine issued Kelly Green - A bright green, there are yellow undertones to the ink. It is a very bright ink and I would classify this as an ink for personal notes..

Bright, light green. This would be for personal notes versus business purposes.
Good performance, similar to the majority of other Diamine ink colours in terms of flow and drying times.

Is it a blue or a green? In May 2008 Diamine issued Teal Green - I really have enjoyed using this colour. It has a rich green tone, with just a tinge of the blue-green undertone to give it a distinctive look. I used it right away for some of my writing at work and it is a colour that when you go back and look at a page of writing, is well received by the eye. Good flow. Good drying time. Nice shading on broad strokes.

In May 2008 Diamine issued Ultra Green - a bold, bright, rich green.. This may be the green that folks are looking for!
In using the ink, the bold strong colour looks good in both business and personal notes. It dries quickly on the paper and there is shading when written with broad nibs.

Umber Green is one of the darker greens in the Diamine group of greens.
The colour flattens when it dries but this is a green that is easy on the eye. I have used it for both business and personal writing and it looks very good and sophisticated on the page.

A strong bold green, good flow, and performance is consistent with the other Diamine ink colours. Writing with a broad nib, I found the colour was not as deep a green as the colour swatch on the Diamine web site.
